1,2,3- Confetti

Listen to this song for about 30 seconds. There. you have now fallen in love with this still somewhat unknown band straight out of Pittsburgh. Crunchy guitars+crackling vocals create one very haunting and catchy song.

Foxy Shazam- Bye Bye Symphony

SXSW buzzband…..Ok so the first time we heard this song….we were not overly impressed. Thinking it sounded like some wannabe broadway/Queen song, we moved on to listen to the current indie-rock royalty, The XX.

Then, the next day we accidentally had our iTunes on repeat and zoned out with this song on. Let’s just say it grows on you. Granted, this song is not for everyone and can come off really showy and hard. However, give this song a chance. Listen to it once, twice, three times before you move on to the new shiny song that is gracing Pitchfork pages, and you might appreciate this little diamond in the rough.

(P.S.: and how freaking cool is this? they are letting fans preview their new album if you are lucky enough to get them on Chat Roulette http://hangout.altsounds.com/news/115769-foxy-shazam-to-premiere-album-on-chatroulette-com.html )
